The sky is set on fire

In summer noon, you are severe.
The eyes that meet you would be hurt, and the skin exposed to you would be burnt.

In the evening, when you appear to be swallowed into the contours of horizon,
you are rather gentle to the sour eyes,
spreading your wings of fire
and radiating it throughout the blue sky
which by your magic
turns gold in colour.

Did you set the sky on fire?
Nothing could hide on your watch
and could escape from your scorching stare.
What are you made of?
A flame of truth.

You are an undying beauty.
Nothing flourishes without your influence.
The world goes into a deep slumber
when part of the earth shuts its door on you.
And, such is your influence, it throws open the other door just to keep breathing.
